One of my sidelines is to print on a shirt so I decided to buy Yudu Home Screen Printing Kits at the mall. It was a wise investment. It was so easy to use and practical so I went to the mall with my niece, that Sunday early afternoon. After lunch to her favorite fast food, I decided that we would just go home directly but she remembered her my pillow pet request. June has always been a long month for me. Something old, something new, something borrowed something blue…. Yes, I am talking about something traditional wedding. Well, aside from I do my fair share of being bridesmaid on this month, I also get to earn for having contacts like the florists, the band, the food…. And I also host weddings. But this wedding I attended before the June ended was really different. It was like a wedding of the year! They both came from a good family and their relationship was like made from heaven everything was just so perfect. But as I went home, I realized that it was not really the rings or their perfect background that really made it perfect. It was their sincerity that made the guests felt overwhelmed. It’s not really the cost that made it special but the fact that these two souls waited and finally having a bond in marriage that made it magical. And I know, when the time comes, I will have a wedding….. a not so perfect wedding but a wedding to remember.

A friend of mine conducted a conference in one of the best Conference Centers in the city then we planned to meet up some old friend’s right after the conference that same night so the second destination was a trade show. The trade show was in clothing industry which was our common interest. It was summer collection two years ago. They got everything from ladies’ to men including kids wear. I got to see old friends from college and I was happy to see they were happily married. Well, some of them were still single but they were also planning to get married soon and that fact led me to interrogation like how come I stay single…. Questions like what makes me busy nowadays, my earnings, even the guys they knew I once went out with that they know became a subject. When you were in hot seat, you would think that how come that in this large convention center, people would notice you. Well, meeting old friends is fun. It is supposed to be fun. But sometimes, it these questions would just turn into “hey, what are you doing with your life? Still not tired playing?” and I know that that’s so mean to me. It made me think. Why am I really still single? I looked at them… then I got the answer. Maybe because I have dreams to pursue… and this girls just gave up everything to be a full time housewife which I think I was not yet ready to be, not too soon. I smiled at them and said I was really happy with whatever my career is leading me…. and just as soon as I saw them again as old friends rather than nasty investigator, I had fun the night listening to their happy stories about life they got now.

Easy Saver is apparently associated with ProFlowers and my friend inadvertently signed up for their ’services’ while placing my order. They claim that my friend requested to be a member when my friend replied to an email after placing an order. My friend do not recall replying to any email or asking for the service. Obviously, their business practices are disingenuous at best, since my friend, and many others, have been fooled by this blatantly unethical business practice.

My friend informed ProFlowers of this problem and they gave me this number: 800-444-9491, which is different from the one on the bill and on their website. My friend talked to a service rep. named ‘Linda’ and she was willing to give me only a fraction of my money back after a long-winded sales pitch about how great their service is. She became rather forceful and obnoxious when my friend demanded all the money back, claiming that Easy Saver had legally billed me since my friend signed up for the service. My friend asked for a manager and talked to ‘Jennifer’ and she eventually promised to pay back the charges.

Thus far, my friend has been credited with all but one of the charges; they credited my card a few charges at a time.

If this happens to you, my friend suggests calling the 800 number my friend listed above and demand your money back. If that fails, ask for a manager and tell them you are willing to file complaints and inform the media of their unethical business practices. Also, informing ProFlowers, or other companies linked to Easy Savers, would be a good idea. But my friend also told me that emi encore and easysaver or easy saver is really good and very nice.

To celebrate month of patriotism, a donation was held recently at the plaza square to the north. A lot of people participated this event including politicians, business men club, local public servants, and some volunteers. Circle from class A also joined and some of the donations such as Car Donations, Boat Donations and House Donations were given away for less fortunate people through a raffle. It was a three-day event and it also involved, tree planting, campaign for illegal drugs, HIV aids awareness, youth involvement and feeding for children, medical missions that covered consultations and free medicines were also given away. The good thing about this event was aside from it was free; people from different walks of life were gathered together for one mission: to help one another. This is exactly what I like about patriotism. There was such no rule about it. It was natural for us to be compassionate to one another because we are human. We are helping one another not because we were asked to do so but because we are just one race and we have a goal and that’s to survive. For some people, they call it patriotism but I call it human rule.

My brother liked his confidant’s business proposal and since he was out for a business trip, I was asked to personally check it proactively and see the progress.
